A magical opportunity opened up in Mexico when van de Wiel first started learning from, and collaborating with master weavers. Each piece is one of a kind and adapted from an original Black Line Crazy painting. The work is handwoven using 100% wool and ethically sourced from the State of Guanajuato. You’ll see her hand-embroidered signature in one corner. The pieces have a particularly vibrant energy and work wherever they’re placed. (van de Wiel prefers seeing the work hanging on the wall.)
